Key duties as a Senior Town Planner include:
- Managing projects of varying scale across development sectors such as housing, tourism, hotels, estates, and commercial endeavours, including environmental projects.
- Oversight of planning applications (major and local), Development Plans submissions, and appeals.
- Conducting Feasibility Assessments for development suitability.
- Coordination with planning officers, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Preparation of planning appraisals for potential projects.
- Conducting research and analysis for sites, including planning policy and case history.
- Providing fee quotations and ensuring projects are completed within budget.
- Utilising networking avenues to promote the company.
Qualifications Required as a Senior Town Planner:
- RTPI Accredited Degree or equivalent.
- Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI).
- Demonstrable experience within planning – private sector experience is preferred
- Experience within managing a wide range of projects
- Excellent written reporting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A clean driving license.
