We’re looking for a Senior Talent & Leadership Development Manager who’ll play a crucial role in defining and delivering talent, succession, and leadership development initiatives that build capability now and for the future to support our business strategy. This position aims to strengthen internal talent pipelines, drive talent mobility, and cultivate a high-performance culture through engaging performance propositions and development opportunities.

This role will be based out of our Peterborough office where our HR team located.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:

  • Define, deliver, and continuously improve talent management and succession planning practices across all levels.
  • Proactively manage internal talent moves to retain talent, develop skills and breadth, strengthen succession, and cultivate key talent pools.
  • Develop a pipeline of leaders through targeted high-potential interventions, enabling mobility and growth of key talent.
  • Design and deliver an innovative, high impact leadership development offering that future-proofs and builds leadership capability from junior to senior leadership levels.
  • Lead and execute a holistic, organisation-wide performance cycle and process to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Utilise internal and external data and benchmarking information to continually review and enhance talent, leadership development, and performance propositions.

The candidate for Talent Manager

  • Expertise in developing and implementing innovative and high impact talent management & leadership development interventions.
  • Proven ability to proactively use best practices, data, and insights while staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to communicate effectively in the language of the business.
  • Industry-specific qualification/management qualification (e.g. CIPD), psychometric assessments, talent & development theory & principles.
  • Strong stakeholder management at the Senior Leadership level with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Experience in writing proposals for investment with a clear focus on ROI.
