Fusion People are actively recruiting for a Senior Project Manager/Senior Mobilisation Manager to work on behalf of our trusted client in the Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire areas.
A world leading infrastructure management business is looking to recruit a highly experienced Senior Project Manager/Senior Mobilisation Manager (Director) to support the remobilization of static and mobile maintenance services in Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire. The value of the activities to be insourced in the first half of 2024 is circa £5m-£7m. This exercise will oversee the transformation of services from a subcontracted supply chain model of delivery into an in house delivery service.
The individual will have previous experience of leading mobilisation of significant supply chain change management exercises, with a clear understanding of enablement, operational, commercial/financial and exit management requirements associated with such a task.
Key aspects of the successful candidate’s role profile are further detailed below:
Mobilisation/project management experience:
· Experience of leading and/or mobilizing a hard service contracts and/or significant supply chain reprocurement and reimplementation’s;
· Ability to put in place an appropriate governance structure in order to keep a clear line of site across all workstreams;
· Experiencing in defining operational readiness requirements and post go live transition plans;
· A working knowledge/competency in MS Projects and Office 0365 requirements.
Operational and Commercial experience:
· Experience of leading/managing static and mobile multi-site engineering services, along with associated support services, such as scheduling/planning, helpdesk services and works administration.
· Oversight/working knowledge of maintenance/projects health and safety management systems and SSoW environment
· A working knowledge of key HR/people management requirements, including the TUPE process, onboarding and training
· A working knowledge of Hard FM processes and CAFM system set up
· Ability to work with the commercial/financial function to set budgets and cost control protocols
· Supply chain and procurement management appreciation, particularly in relation to spares and inventory management
· A sound knowledge of management information suites and the requirements to set up data and MI to provide operational insight and daily performance monitoring (including jeopardy management approaches)
Qualifications/General:
· Degree qualified or equivalent within an engineering and/or management discipline
· Preferably an incorporated or chartered engineer
· Health and Safety management qualification, such as Nebosh or IOSH highly favourable
· Previous experience in Defence or Secure Environments highly preferably
· Must hold an SC clearance (or be willing to go through security clearance process)
Preferred Attributes:
–The ideal candidate would have mobilisation/transition experience of maintenance contracts, ideally in an engineering critical space. They would be overseeing all areas of transition including TUPE in, operations, commercial and H&S.
-They would have understanding of the necessary steps of the transition and the best order of these steps, so some basic programming experience would be preferred.
Package
-Initially a 6 months contract with large potential to go permanent for the correct candidate
– £600 – £700 per day (Possibility to be paid outside of IR35 based on assessment by client)
-Travel is able to be expensed upon approval from client.
