This is a newly created position. The business is offering a six-month assignment for someone to join as a Senior Interim FP&A Partner. With offices in Leicestershire, you can work from home four days per week!
It is a unique and high-profile opportunity that will give exposure to senior finance leaders (CFO/FD) and commercial teams. You will lead on analysis and insight into the cash flow of the business. This includes working closely with a detailed balance sheet, drilling into the ‘why’ of these numbers, and reporting back to board level. The expectation is to create a narrative to deliver to the board and offer suggestions to make improvements. You will work closely with the existing finance team to enable the delivery of this insight, leveraging with the accountants to gather the information you need (Working Capital and Cash flow).
You will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified Accountant with experience working within a larger/complex organisation. Your experience will include creating narratives for senior leadership teams. You should also be adept at delivering insightful analysis in the mentioned areas, backed by strong Excel modeling skills. Perhaps you are someone who started their career in finance, moving into industry into a commercial role?
