The Company

A global logistics provider leveraging a specialised transport and logistics expertise to assist customers and partners.

The Role

The position involves fostering a high-level connection between the senior leadership team and other key business units. The role will oversee a small and responsible for financial management reporting, financial planning and budgeting.

Key Responsbilities

* Monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting.
* Annual budgeting and cash forecasting.
* Produce meaningful and insigtful KPI reporting.
* Production of corporate 5-year plans.
* Tender pricing preparation.
* Support the wider business providing key insigts to guide financial decision-making processes.
* Provide financial support to your assigned business unit, developing business cases for investments.
* Oversee the month-end reporting process.
* Develop and improve financial systems and controls.
Collaborate with colleagues in the finance team to enhance efficiency and streamline the consolidation process.
* Lead and develop the finance team, and support with recruitment.
* Stakeholder management.
* Working with cross-functional teams on varied projects and assigments.

Candidate Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
* Professional Qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
* Proven experience in a similar profile finance business partnering role.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
* Background in Logistics, or similar sector.
* Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in financial data.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers through compelling financial arguments.
* Familiarity with financial software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
