Senior Project Manager – Events
Are you an established events professional with creative flair, the confidence to be different and enthusiasm to deliver head turning live, hybrid and virtual events? An established events agency based in Manchester, has redefined the industry since its inception in 2012.
Working with an established and growing client base you will work with stakeholders, delivering outstanding events across: corporate, consumer, experiential and activations.
Experience We Need:
For this role, you should possess:
* At least three years of event agency experience, with a preference for candidates experienced in event agency settings
* Strong command of project management principles
* Proficiency in managing logistics, including significant planning and coordination
* Adept budget management skills
* Effective communication abilities for collaboration across internal teams, clients, and external vendors
* Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate large teams
* Exceptional proposal and presentation skills
* The capacity to lead teams effectively in high-pressure scenarios
The Role:
As the Senior Project Manager, your role encompasses:
* Conceiving and planning event concepts
* Overseeing end-to-end event logistics, from inception to execution
* Managing event delivery and overseeing on-site teams
* Taking full charge of external suppliers’ involvement from pitching to delivery
* Coordinating all event logistics, encompassing transport, venue preparation, catering, speakers, and more
* Negotiating supplier contracts and meticulously managing event budget
* Ensuring adherence to margin targets while reporting on progress
