Robert Walters are currently working with a leading business based on the outskirts of Chichester who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.
This Senior Accountant role has come about due to continued success and growth of the business and is a key hire for our client to support them on their ambitious journey.
Reporting into the Accounting Manager, this role will support this individual and lead the team in their absence Accounting Managers absence where necessary.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of this Senior Accountant role:
– Ensure timely/accurate processing of all revenue transactions.
– Monthly reconciliations of all relevant balance sheet accounts including, A.R & Deferred Revenue
– Work with the I.T team to understand various payment platforms relating to income and sales.
– Support the rollout of new revenue related systems – playing an active part on providing input to the project team and in testing.
– Provide ad-hoc revenue related analysis & support.
– Support year end audit process in terms of the provision of information relating to audit requests.
We would love to speak to people with the following profile:
– Qualified Accountant, ACCA/CIMA studier OR QBE with relevant accounting experience and exposure.
– Experience of Revenue Accounting would be advantageous
– Experience of working in a multi site environment advantageous
– Strong systems knowledge, Excel, SAGE, NetSuite.
Our client is looking to offer a salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per year based on qualification status and experience. You will also get additional benefits inc, 25 days holiday, gym membership, pension scheme and hybrid, flexible working.
