Are you looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant role? We are currently looking for a TA who is keen on looking for their next job role developing their career in a SEN school.
What the role will include:
The teaching assistant role will support the work of a qualified teacher and, under an agreed system of supervision, have responsibility for agreed learning activities.
This involves undertaking specified work involving planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities to individual pupils/groups and monitoring, assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil development, progress and attainment.
Key areas of the role will include:
- Co-ordinate provision for children with SEN.
- Liaise with the relevant designated teacher.
- Advise on graduated approach to the provide Additional SEN Support.
- Ensure that the records of all children with SEN are kept up to date.
- Liaise with parents of children with SEN.
- Establish and maintain effective and supportive relations with pupils, parents/carers.
