Role Overview: As an SEN Key Stage 2 QTS Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to students with special educational needs. As an SEN class teacher you will deliver engaging lessons, collaborate with educational teams, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 students with SEN.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements, behavior, and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for Primary Education.
- Specialized training or experience in SEN education.
- Strong understanding of various learning needs and effective strategies to support them in Key Stage 2.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
