Can you make learning science fun? Are you able to inspire young people to discover a love for all things science? This excellent alternative provision is looking to add a qualified Science Teacher to an established team of teachers and support staff. As a Science Teacher at this school, you will be teaching classes of no more than 8 students with SEMH needs, often classes will be smaller than 5 students, and you will be always supported by a Teaching Assistant.
Children at this school have been either temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education, however, are eager to learn with the right support. You will be given the freedom to deliver practical ant theoretical lessons as you see fit and be actively encouraged to think outside of the box! Leadership at this school are outstanding and will ensure that you receive an abundance of support. Allowing you to focus on teaching Science!
Job Role:
- Teaching science to classes of 4 – 10 children.
- Breaking down academic barriers and making learning fun.
- Delivering lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
- Utilising TA’s to provide additional support for students.
- Delivering practical sessions that inspire a love for science.
