Illuminate are supporting a fast growing consultancy in the search for an individual with experience of supporting the business development function of a growing and fast-paced professional services business.

What will the role involve?

Key responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Providing full and comprehensive support to the business development team in their day-to-day activities
  • Ensuring the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Hubspot, is kept up-to-date and deal information is accurate
  • Assisting the team with scheduling client meetings
  • Preparing sales materials to ensure a smooth process and an excellent experience for both clients and the team
  • Identifying and supporting process improvements where applicable
  • Researching prospective clients to set the Business Development team up for success

What experience will you need to succeed in this role?

  • Experience in a support role in fast-paced, professional services sales environment
  • You will have a practical outlook and be at your happiest completing the tactical day activities needed to enable the business development team to thrive
  • An organised self starter able to manage your own time and work to tight deadlines whilst using initiative to go the extra mile if the opportunity and need arises
  • Involvement in the creation of Client proposals
  • Worked with and managed a CRM system – preferably Hubspot
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A very high standard of English communication skills both written and verbal

Ideally you will be within commuting distance of the London office and be comfortable with a flexible working hours. The team generally work office ours but trust each other to make fair decisions and be flexible when needed.
