An English & Italian speaker is needed to join a prominent insurance business in London on a hybrid basis as a Reporting Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for preparation of financial statements whilst gaining exposure to multiple projects across the business.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Production of the financial statements in Italian GAAP/ UK GAAP
* Assist in the development of efficient financial controls for the financial statement preparation process
* Liaising with and supporting the Italian based finance team
* Additionally supporting IFRS 17 and SII deliverables
For this role you should be:
* ACA / ACCA/ CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
* Fluent in both Italian & English (essential)
* Proven experience in preparing financial statements in either a life or non-life insurance business (essential)
* Knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP (essential)
* Knowledge of Italian GAAP (would be an advantage)
