Role Description:
As a Regional Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our client’s customer base in the UK. This entails nurturing relationships with key accounts, conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth, and overseeing sales activities to achieve targets. Collaboration with internal teams will be essential to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the development of effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the customer base in the UK through proactive account management and business development efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for their needs and inquiries.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support in meeting customer requirements.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis to management.
Qualifications:
- Strong sales and account management skills, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the electrical industry and safety regulations, preferably with experience in selling related products or services.
- Experience in B2B sales and a solid understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities, with a focus on delivering value to customers.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and organisational skills.
