Reed are working with an extremely successful global company based in Sutton Coldfield to appoint an ambitious Record to Report Manager.
This position provides a tremendous opportunity for you to gain an overall understanding of the business’ income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, manual journal entry reconciliation, trial balance review, and monthly reporting.
Job Title: Record to Report Manager
Salary: £60k to £65k per annum
Hours: Mon – Fri – 9am – 5pm
Location: Sutton Coldfield (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Responsibilities of a Record to Report Manager
- Ensure timely and accurate month end close process with proper documentation and reconciliation of accounts
- Lead, develop, and coach up to 10 staff members including performance management
- Manage monthly SOX and sales reporting and compliance activities
- Supervise monthly financial statement analysis and journal entry process for the US operations
- Conduct quarterly reviews of balance sheet and trail balance
- Examine quarterly cash flow statement, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Oversee preparations for external audits, providing necessary documentation and assistance
- Ensure day-to-day services performed by the team meethigh standards of quality and efficiency
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, service improvement, and continuous improvement
- Track and report service delivery performance to finance leadership team
Requirements for the Record to Report Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or MBA and/or CPA certification are advantageous
- Track record of progressive accounting experience
- Previous management experience is essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
