Reception Teacher – April 2024
Wayman Education is working with a family-feel and welcoming primary school based in the heart of Hounslow. The school is looking for a caring, lovely, dedicated, and nurturing Reception teacher for April 2024. The children there are fun, and motivated; the staff there are determined about developing well-rounded, successful pupils through a creative and well-designed curriculum. The school is looking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Reception teacher who is great at driving attainment and creating engaging lessons.
Responsibilities of a Reception teacher:
- As a Reception teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children who are taking their first steps in EYFS, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment
- Teaching the EYFS curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child’s learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
- Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories
- Keeping track of children’s progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Suitable Applicants Must Have:
- Relevant qualifications (Experienced Reception teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching EYFS or Reception
