As a Propulsion System Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in evaluating and ensuring the performance, safety, and regulatory compliance of powertrain systems within our products. This role focuses on meticulous propulsion system testing, analysis, and optimisation while addressing torque distribution and system protection challenges.
In your first few weeks in this Propulsion System Test Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Design comprehensive test plans based on system requirements and specifications to ensure thorough evaluation of powertrain/propulsion systems
- Conduct hands-on tests on powertrain systems, including functional, performance, and stress tests, to ensure product compliance and reliability
- Analyse testing data to identify system performance trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement
- Work closely with design and development teams to communicate test findings, provide feedback, and suggest necessary modifications
