Job Responsibilities: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting accurate cost estimates and budget management for a wide variety of projects.
- Analysing and evaluating tenders and contract documents to ensure cost efficiency.
- Monitoring and managing project costs throughout their lifecycle.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Preparing reports and financial documentation as required.
- Providing professional advice to clients to support decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or other relevant qualifications).
- Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to various sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction cost management and project management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technology.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
