Job Responsibilities: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting accurate cost estimates and budget management for a wide variety of projects.
  • Analysing and evaluating tenders and contract documents to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Monitoring and managing project costs throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Preparing reports and financial documentation as required.
  • Providing professional advice to clients to support decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or other relevant qualifications).
  • Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to various sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction cost management and project management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technology.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
