PROGRAMME MANAGER
A major global technology company is looking for a Programme Manager to join the team on a temporary 6-month basis!
As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic planning, execution, and delivery of design system initiatives aimed at elevating the consistency, efficiency, and quality of our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project goals, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives.
PROGRAMME MANAGER ROLE:
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive program roadmap outlining key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables for design system initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define clear objectives and success criteria for each project
- Leading end-to-end execution of design system initiatives, including scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders across product, design, engineering, and other relevant teams to understand their needs, gather feedback, and align on priorities, serving as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries and updates
- Regularly communicating program status, progress, and key insights to stakeholders through written updates, presentations, and meetings, preparing and presenting executive-level reports on program performance and impact
- Identifying potential risks, dependencies, and obstacles that may impact program delivery or quality, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to address these challenges proactively
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program processes, workflows, and methodologies, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and incorporating lessons learned into future program iterations
- Fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages knowledge sharing, creativity, and innovation, working closely with team members to resolve conflicts, provide mentorship, and celebrate achievements
PROGRAMME MANAGER ESSENTIALS:
- 8-10 years of experience within Project Management with Technology
- Strong understanding of design systems principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
