Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division are recruiting for an experienced Production Shift Leader to join a thriving fast moving manufacturing facility in South Yorkshire.
The role of Production Shift Leader will be shift based Monday to Friday (Mornings, Afternoons & Nights on rotation) and will require the individual to be a strong people manager with a focus on ensuring manufacturing, safety, quality and output targets are consistently achieved or excelled.
Responsibilities of the Production Shift Leader will include:
- Communicating accurate detailed shift reports from afternoon & night shift
- Monitor performance to metrics, manage resources and priorities to achieve targets
- Drive forward and promote a continuous improvement and safety first culture
- Supporting and leading a team of production operatives in a fast paced production environment
- Monitoring the process and target achievement whilst driving activity and performance
- Identifying and managing change whilst effectively engaging with your team
We are looking for experienced Production Shift Leaders with the below skills and experience:
- Flexibility with working hours
- Previous team leader/management/supervisory experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment with a focus on TPM and OEE
- Focussed people and process leader
- KPI and target driven with the ability to analyse data
- A safety-first approach with a strong grasp of quality
- Ideally IOSH qualified
