Based in Avonmouth, Plant-Ex ingredients in an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.

We are running teams of three operators on two machines on a 4o4o shift pattern. The teams are responsible for prepping the machine batches, running the machines and keeping their areas clean and hygienic. It is possible to run the machines with three people – but we want to have a fantastic four so that there is less of a strain on the squad during holiday times/sickness etc.
The role is hard work & busy which helps the time pass quickly, but the work is not repetitive. Join us and be part of an international company keeping food manufacturers supplied with powdered Flavours, Natural Colours and Extracts.
THIS POSITION IS ON A 4 ON 4 OFF SHIFT PATTERN 06:00 – 18:30 AND 18:00 – 06:30
You will be involved in all the aspects of the operating role – preparing the ingredients for processing, operating the machines to create the powders, packing off the finished products and cleaning down the machines afterwards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
No experience needed – we offer full training!
We are looking for driven people who want to get involved and succeed in our fast-paced company.
You need to have basic reading and writing skills for recording batch numbers, and basic computer skills for sending emails.
You need to be physically fit and be able to lift 25kg comfortably.
FLT licence would be an advantage but not necessary as the company will organise for you to be trained and certified.
We are looking for individuals with a problem solving and "can do attitude" – this team is one which gets things done.
Immediate start available.
You will need to be able to reliably commute to Avonmouth and be comfortable working day and night shifts on a rotation basis.
