Product Owner – Warrington
Do you want a Product Owner role that has the autonomy to be involved from the start through to delivery in a true Agile environment? Do you want to have that flexible working pattern of 4 days at home, and 1 day in the office? if so then please read on.
As the Product Owner you must have developed software products in a fast-paced environment and have the following experience:
- Experience in a product management role, working with a range of stakeholders
- Proven experience overseeing all elements of the full product development lifecycle
- Experience in collaborating with developers’ workloads in an Agile environment, running sprints etc
- Any experience in Telecomms, mobile, finance or similar industries then this would be a bonus
It pays up to £45,000 starting salary and is a very fast-paced environment. The aim of the role will be to decide which product is best for the customers and the business
Then the key is that the product owner knows how to drive the development of the product. So, from a technology point of view, he / she will:
– Have experience of the Full Software Development Life Cycle and Agile
– Be quite an analytical thinker
– Have the confidence to speak to a range of stakeholders and not be afraid to put ideas across that could be met with resistance to start with
Then you will launch the product, and this will be a continuing process as they have big plans moving forward for future products. Duties include:
- Defining and managing the product vision and strategy, based on customer and stakeholder needs
- Creating and prioritizing a product backlog (a list of features and requirements) that aligns with the product vision and goals, and continuously refining it based on feedback and changing business needs.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, designers, marketers, and quality assurance) to ensure that the product meets customer needs and is delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensuring that the product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by the development team.
