Space 8 Recruitment are searching for a very special Product Manager to join our Birmingham-based client on a flexi time + hybrid basis.
This is a brand new role, reporting into the Head of Product and sitting alongside a Project Manager.
The role advises on Product Strategy by analysing Product performance on a global scale, with the aim of identifying opportunities to offer a wider range of products into a specific market or Country and to highlight potential to develop new Products.
The Role
- By gathering insights from the Development Teams you will identify trends and opportunities to feed the Innovation Pipeline
- You will analyse Product Performance globally and identify opportunities to expand the Product range
- You will work closely with Sales to understand opportunities and drive discussion on what projects the company should engage in
- You will also work closely with Marketing on what the Product focus should be and why
- By engaging with category and insight teams you will have a strong position on what the company should and should not be doing from a Product perspective
- Working with the Marketing Manager, you ensure Sales are ready to sell, launch KPIs and facilitate post-launch evaluation of new Products
- You will be hands-on and work with the NPD team to see a Project though from beginning to end
- You would identify risks associated with innovation
What are we looking for?
- Your current job title might be Product Manager or Innovation Manager or perhaps you are in Marketing
- We are looking for someone who can make sense of large amounts of data and use this to feed decision making on Product
- You must be commercially aware
- Experience in persuading others would be helpful, whether selling a Product, changing a current way of working or implementing a new process
- You must have a strategic mindset
- You must be a creative thinker
