Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Procurement Administrator on behalf of a leading infrastructure company.
Job purpose:
The role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will provide support to the site procurement team.
Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the site procurement team and to the wider procurement team when required.

Communicating with suppliers to track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials, updating the buyers about any potential problems or delays.

Filing of all procurement and material related documents within the project filing systems, both paper based and electronic

Updating internal databases/registers with purchase order details with dates, suppliers, quantities, savings, costs etc.

Expedite and obtain internal approvals for purchase orders

Liaise with stores on a daily basis regarding delivery dates and ensure information is communicated to the relevant stakeholders

Assist buyers to resolve invoice queries

Produce weekly and monthly data reports

Arrange and attend team meetings/conferences, supply chain meetings, engagement events as required, and ensure appropriate facilities are organised
Qualifications/Experience:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

Experience of transactional, construction-related procurement activities.
-
Experience with the Ariba supply chain system.
-
Experience with Smart Material software.
-
Experience within a construction procurement related environment (within a highly regulated industry) on projects greater than £100m is preferable
-
Experience of working within a JV environment is preferable
-
Knowledge of the power generation market sector or large rotating equipment.

The ability to obtain BPSS is essential for this role.
