GSL Education Hull are actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role is based in Driffield and offers a April 2024 start. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about contributing positively to the education of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Classroom Management: Supervise pupils during the absence of a teacher, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of primary subjects, adapting as necessary to suit the needs of different age groups and abilities.
- Engagement and Support: Engage pupils in their learning, providing assistance and support to individuals as needed.
- Behaviour Management: Implement school behaviour policies effectively, maintaining discipline and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom setups, as well as managing any immediate administrative tasks related to teaching.
Requirements:
- Experience in Education: Previous experience working within primary education is desirable.
- Educational Background: A UK degree or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role is preferred.
- Strong Classroom Management Skills: Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Capable of adapting to varying teaching settings and pupil needs.
- Commitment to Professional Development: A willingness to participate in further training and development opportunities.
