We are looking for Payroll Assistant who is enthusiastic with a desire to learn and progress. In this role you will be preparing the monthly payrolls, maintaining the payroll system and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations in the UK, Europe, North America and multiple regional offices. This involves management of the payroll systems and processes, monthly journals, reconciliations and controls, and relationship management with centres and Human Resources. This role will also involve the management and roll-out of payroll-related projects, working collaboratively with Human Resources, IT and Finance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Maintenance of the payroll system, administering changes to employee data, updating for starters and leavers and variations to contracts for Europe, NA and ROW.
- Ensuring high levels of quality by thoroughly reviewing input data and regular reconciliation checks with internal systems.
- Processing monthly pay-claims, timesheets and additional ad-hoc payments.
- Processing payroll in ADP, Cloudpay and Activ payroll reviewing all inputs and checking payslips and payroll reports.
- Liaising with Human Resources, Centres and Partner Agencies to ensure that all data, updates and claims are received in a complete and timely manner.
- Prepare and review a variance analysis for each payroll to distinguish all changes made from prior months.
- Continue and maintain a strong relationship with existing payroll vendors.
- Ensure static data is regularly reviewed. Prepare and review audit control reports for changes to employee and bank data.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory compliance and support enquiries and investigations as required.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships throughout the centers and functional departments.
ABOUT YOU
- Payroll experience or qualifications and training – CIPP/AAT
- Strong experience in Administration and data input
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and juggle priorities
- Relationship management and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator, internally and externally
- Strong professional writing skills and visual sense .
- An eye for detail and accuracy
