LTA / Reed Education are seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the Newchurch-in-Pendle area.
This new role is a temporary position, starting ASAP and may become ongoing for the right candidate.
The hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
In this role the candidate will be providing 1-to-1 support to a Y2 pupil with SEMH needs.
The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and/or relevant experience.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Monitoring targets for future progress
•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice
•Excellent behaviour management skills
