This market-leading manufacturing organisation based in Liphook is looking for a part time Payroll Specialist to join their existing team. You will be joining a fantastic organisation that has lovely offices and is continually looking to grow. This role will be working 2 days a week with a lot of flexibility on how the hours are worked and it will be mostly office based. This is a great role for someone with a proven payroll background who is looking for a role with flexibility within a stable business.

Part Time Payroll Specialist – About The Role
In this role you will be fully responsible for the management of the payroll function and will be reporting into the Financial Controller. You will be handling the monthly payroll for 150 staff with this increasing during busy periods. There is also an opportunity to upgrade the current payroll software so any experience with this would be hugely beneficial.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Timesheet checking and input
- Commission calculation and reconciliation
- Adjustment to employee records as provided by HR
- End of year processing and reconciliation and issue of P60, P11ds and PSA
- To follow and develop processes for the delivery of payroll work
- Statutory payments – SSP, SMP, PAYE and National insurance
- Perform Auto Enrolment processes
- Provide 1st line support for payroll queries
- Be a technical expert within payroll and keep up to date with changes in legislation
- Post the payroll journal at month end
The successful Part Time Payroll Specialist will have:
- Previous experience in a Payroll position
- Ability to process manual calculations
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good IT skills
