Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working exclusively with a global manufacturing firm based in Leeds, as they look to expand their team with an experienced Part Qualified Accountant.
The successful candidate will join a busy team, reporting into the Financial Controller and working closely with the Management Accountant, to provide extensive support across the month end process. This is a progressive opportunity, offering hybrid working and study support towards CIMA/ACCA.
Duties & responsibilities include:
– Monthly management accounts preparation
– Preparing and posting journals
– Accruals and prepayments
– Balance sheet reconciliation
– Supporting with budgeting process
– Preparing cash flow statements
– Assisting with the production of ad-hoc reports
– Attending meetings with senior management
Person specification:
– Studying towards CIMA/ACCA (part qualified)
– Experience in month end/management accounts production
– Strong system skills including Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
– Excellent communication skills with the confidence to attend senior management meetings
