Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Operations Manager within our Security division to join our passionate and driven team. This is Home Based role with access to our local offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have the day-to-day responsibility for quality performance on the various contracts concerning security.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of the operation of the contract and ensure compliance with the contract specification.
- Respond to any reasonable request of the company or clients.
- Apply quality control procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service.
- Assist in effective management within budgetary constraints.
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Relevant Security Industry Association (SIA) license essential
- Full Driving License essential.
- Previous experience in delivering security solution services to a large client estate.
- Able to prioritise effectively and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Ability to travel from site to site as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Strong leadership style with a focus on supporting and developing employees and colleagues.
- Ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity and maintain confidentiality.
- Taking responsibility for the area of responsibility and adopt a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to meet customer or business needs.
- Proven experience in managing people across multiple sites.
- A proven track record of dealing with senior clients and customers.
- Experience working at a good level in operational management, leadership, and service delivery environment.
- Experience in setting and achieving the standard for health and safety
- Experience in both P&L and budgetary matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and build credibility at a mid and senior level with key stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiating and diplomacy skills combined with the confidence and resilience to handle potential conflict situations.
- Ability to resolve conflicting issues and priorities.
