This Operations management accountant position could be the perfect position for you to grow your skills and work with key stakeholders across the business. The role will be mainly based on site in Whittlesey to ensure the candidate is hands on across the business.
Description
Production of timely and accurate weekly and monthly accounts and financial analysis
Assisting in preparation of the monthly forecast and annual plan
Financial analysis for both labour and yield
Stock management and allocation, self-billing of invoices, and 3rd party stock management
Control spend throughout the capex spend
Controlling and challenging operational overhead spend
To deliver financial training to non-finance stakeholders
Drive sustainability of existing savings and identify new opportunities
Support of Stock Management
Completing ad hoc raw material and packaging stock audits across all sites and ensure any obsolete stock is written off the system
Monthly accruals
Profile
Business partnering experience or Operations management accountant experience
Strong analytical mind set and variance analysis skills
Strong Excel skills required
Good stakeholder management with strong communication skills
Ability to influence at all levels
Operational knowledge desirable
