Online Surveys Developer / Database Developer required by chartered surveyors, building consultancy supplying building inspection services to both local authorities and organisations operating within the built environment and construction industries.
Working within the IT team you will engage with building inspectors, chartered surveyors and other users to gather requirements for bespoke online surveys, inspections and questionnaires and subsequently build out the forms and the relationships between the values which will generate end-user report forms for submission to clients.
The Online Surveys Developer / Database Developer will work with a range of Form Builder / Reporting tools which are employed within the Mechanical & Engineering / Built Environment / Construction sector but no formal experience with these tool is required. Some of the systems include: Zerion iForms, doForms, KyKloud and FastFieldForms so any exposure welcome but non-essential. Your skills will lie in Database Development / Online Survey Development / Database Analysis and you will be familiar with similar tools or building such forms/databases in MS Excel and/or MS Access. You will understand data mapping, database relationships and be comfortable testing your syntax within forms in order to generate use friendly systems and customised reports as required.
We are searching for an Online Surveys Developer / Database Developer / Database Analyst / MS Access developer who is comfortable working with data in a variety of capacities (MS Excel, MS Access) and has experience of building out form based systems / online questionnaires. We are open to candidates from ALL industries who can demonstrate these skills around form building, data mapping and field mapping and have previous experience building these system in either MS Excel, MS Access or an off-the-shelf package support by the vendor. You will be well organised and possess excellent communication skills being able to engage with non-technical users.
