Our client is a business that strives to support organisations to assess, manage and reduce their impact on the environment. As a result of their continued growth, they are seeking Multi-skilled technicians to join the national team that supports major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. As a Multi-skilled Technician, you will work with your colleagues to assess, maintain, and install drainage and fuel tank systems, working cross-functionally with teams across the organisation to provide customers with a long-term asset management solution.

The role:

  • To work as part of a team to perform and deliver site maintenance works, which will include tank cleaning and industrial cleaning on sites such as petrol stations, distribution centres, and other industrial sites
  • To operate company vehicles, including HGVs and excavators, when qualified to do so
  • To support the installation, maintenance and upkeep of fuel tanks and other drainage networks when required
  • To use high-pressure water jets to complete cleaning activities
  • To support with surface preparation and re-lining of areas such as fuel tanks
  • To work support with de-commissioning activities including groundworks and remediations
  • To respond and react to callouts for critical issues
  • To speak with customers on-site to discuss ongoing works and any future support they may need, reporting back to relevant colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
  • To complete all required digital and physical paperwork and submit it promptly to your supervisor
  • To maintain a clean and safe working area, as well as vehicle, ensuring all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times
  • To undergo any other training required to improve or upskill. This will ensure that you can work confidently and competently across all areas

The person:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence, CE, CE+1
  • Happy to travel and stay away from home up to 4 nights a week regularly. Accommodation and meals will be paid for.
  • Hold Relevant qualifications and licences, such as; HGV/LGV CE driving license, (Class 2), CSCS
  • Proven track record of complying with tachograph regulations
  • Previous knowledge and experience of completing RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) documentation
  • Experience in site maintenance, drainage or highways would be advantageous
  • Ability to work with the utmost professionalism, adhering to company and industry health and safety regulations at all times
  • Ability to operate on client sites, representing the company at its best at all times
  • Willingness to undertake any additional training
  • An excellent team player with a can-do attitude
