Mobile Fabric Engineer Edinburgh £30,000 – £34,000 + Van and Fuel Card
Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Fabric Engineer to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to work across various commercial buildings, undertaking planned and reactive maintenance works.
Responsibilities:
* Planned and Reactive Maintenance:
* Execute planned maintenance tasks as scheduled. * Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently.
* Basic Plumbing:
* Conduct plumbing repairs and installations. * Diagnose and address plumbing issues to maintain optimal functionality.
* Basic Electrics:
* Undertake electrical repairs and installations. * Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
* Painting:
* Perform painting duties to enhance and maintain building aesthetics. * Ensure quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
* Carpentry:
* Carry out carpentry work for repairs and installations. * Provide skilled support for various carpentry-related tasks.
* Routine Inspections:
* Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs. * Report findings and propose preventive measures.
* Health and Safety Compliance:
* Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently. * Implement safe work practices and report concerns promptly.
* Customer Service:
* Maintain a high level of customer service in client interactions. * Address inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
* Vehicle and Equipment Management:
* Utilize the provided van for travel between sites. * Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
* Documentation:
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities. * Complete required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role with a strong background in basic plumbing, electrics, painting, and carpentry. * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. * Strong organisational and time-management skills. * Customer-focused attitude and effective communication skills. * Able to pass DBS checks * Full UK driving license.
Package:
* Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. * £30,000 – £34,000 per annum, depending on experience. * Van & Fuel Card * Pension * Training Offered * Opportunity to grow within business * Plenty of Overtime Available.
