Your World Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Front of House Receptionist to join a leading Healthcare organisation based in Canary Wharf, ideally to start as soon possible.

Medical Receptionist

Start Date: ASAP ideally.

Duration: Expected to last until May 2024 and potentially maybe longer (depending on our client service needs)

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 16:45 or 09:15 to 18:15

Hourly Pay Rate: £11.68 PAYE Inclusive of Holiday or £13.20 Umbrella

Duties:

  • Supporting with the day-to-day smooth running of our client’s healthcare organisation, carrying out Front of House Receptionist duties
  • Meeting and greeting all patients and visitors upon their arrival
  • Providing a pleasant and efficient telephone service for patients, doctors, visitors, staff and any other callers, directing calls as required
  • Co-ordinating all deliveries and couriers where necessary
  • Ensuring all required logbooks are kept completed and up to date
  • Carry out any other reasonable task as required by the Supervisor or Head Receptionist
  • Maintaining electronic database/s, and supporting with front of house tasks to assist the daily operation, carrying out a range of activities efficiently and effectively
  • You will have the ability to use empathy towards the clients’ needs, always using tact and diplomacy skills

Skills, Experience or Qualifications required:

  • Medical Receptionist/equivalent experience, ideally gained within the NHS/Healthcare sector
  • Experience of working in a busy and demanding patient facing role
  • Ability to work within a team in a multidisciplinary service, maintaining an excellent working relationship with staff at various levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for day to day workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and pay attention to detail
  • Positive working attitude
