Mechanical Technician

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician who is looking for a role within a well-established company? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our company based in Poole.

Working Hours:

2 weeks of days

2 weeks of nights

Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 06:00am – 18:00pm Days

Week 2 – Wednesday and Thursday 06:00am – 18:00pm Days

Week 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 18:00pm – 06:00am Nights

Week 4 – Wednesday and Thursday 18:00pm – 06:00am Nights

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure scheduled services are carried out in a timely and professional manner.

* Attend breakdowns as and when they occur.

* Leave machines in a safe and tidy condition.

* Carry out regular cleaning and regular inspections on the machines.

* Develop projects related to Machine Improvements.

* Develop projects related to improved working practises.

What we need from you:

* Experience with services on machines.

* Experience acting as Fire Marshall.

* Full UK licence.

* Able to follow health and safety regulations.

* Experience in going on breakdowns.

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

* Ability to use own initiative within the workplace.
