Mechanical Technician Your Role We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our ā€˜Asset Teamā€™. Reporting into the Asset Leader, you will drive asset performance and support the shift teams on a daily basis. It will be your responsibility to ensure all work carried out conforms to site standards, systems and processes, supporting the delivery key KPIā€™s and the mill reliability strategy. We need you to implement world class maintenance practices in a way that meets all Kimberly Clarkā€™s standards and processes. You will work to ensure Line Team ā€˜go home in same condition as they arrived and identify and record unsafe conditions using our hazard identification system, ETQ. About You You will have completed an apprenticeship with (ideally) a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent. We are looking for you to have a hands-on approach to problem solving, a flexible approach and experience within a FMCG process/tissue/heavy engineering environment. This role requires you to be available to work flexible hours (where needed) outside of core working hours. This will be to cover business need, shortfalls within the shift operations team and to support a 24hr call in rota.
