As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be a critical member of the team, responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in preventing downtime, minimizing disruptions, and contributing to our commitment to operational excellence.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections on a variety of machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and service reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must have a full UK driving license.
