Purpose of the Role
Purpose and Scope
Support the marketing consultants to deliver compelling marketing campaigns that drive footfall, retailer sales and market share for Scotland’s unique leisure destination.
Support the development and execution of the company marketing and branding strategies.
Liaise with centre management to assist and develop the centres wider objectives delivering exemplary customer service.
Provide agreed reporting objectives timeously and assist stakeholders in line with overall marketing objectives.
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and control of marketing budget.

Support the marketing consultants to deliver the centre’s annual marketing business plan in line with overall strategy.
Assist in the delivery of events, promotions, and service initiatives to support the overall strategy
Support the centre’s digital marketing strategy to engage with visitors and drive visits to the centre using the website, e-shots, SMS and social media platforms.
Assist and support centre management with promotional and commercial campaigns.
Ensure the centres website is constantly refreshed with engaging content, liaising with tenants to promote their products and offers
Ensure all marketing comms including collateral produced for brands, visitors, local community stakeholders, CR partners and commercial partners is in line with brand guidelines and ensure correct sign off procedure
Assist with evaluation of all marketing activities, reporting results and producing monthly report with KPI’s
CR – work with the team on local community engagement providing mall space and facilities for community use engaging with the local community on events and initiatives
Regularly communicate with tenants on a face to face basis to raise awareness of marketing activity and obtain trading information
Where appropriate use creative writing skills to assist with centre literature and digital content
Provide administrative support to the marketing consultants where required and work in conjunction with all site colleagues to maintain consistently high standards
Deal with online and face to face enquiries and requests for information from tenants, customers and the local community
Respond to incoming enquiries and fielding requests from other MAPP departments
Report writing – Assist Centre Manager with delivery of internal and external reporting
Facilitate meetings for tenants and management
General administrative duties, updating databases and spreadsheets. Any other reasonable duties as instructed by line manager

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Excellent organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages

Ability to multi task and complete jobs to deadline
Ability to think both strategically and commercially
Working Hours – 30hours
Salary – £30,000
