Manufacturing Process Engineer | Newbury | £35,000pa plus benefits | Graduate with 1-2 years of experience:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior or Graduate level Manufacturing Process Engineer who possesses 1-2 years’ worth of commercial experience to join a historic manufacturing company in the Newbury area. This organisation is steeped in history and supply some of the world’s leading Aerospace, Automotive and F1 companies which are also household names.
As they embark on an exciting period of change, they’re looking for a passionate Manufacturing Process Engineer who can spot areas for improvement within their manufacturing processes, the machinery, which includes new robotics, and systems they are using. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone as you pretty much have a blank canvass, and you will develop and progress your experience and skills on the job delivering process and continuous improvements into this historic business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing process sheets for NPI,
- Designing and validating tooling,
- Commissioning of new machines,
- Yaskawa robot programming,
- PLC programming,
- Process evaluation and improvements.
Required Knowledge:-
- HNC, HND or Degree qualified with 1-2 years of experience minimum
- Experience of 3D CAD software (Fusion 360, Inventor, Solidworks)
- Additive manufacturing (FDM),
- Knowledge of metallurgy desirable,
- Understanding of basic metal processing for example milling, turning will be desirable.
- Robot programming experience would be beneficial.
- PLC programming (Beckhoff / Delta / Siemens) desirable.
