Radar Recruitment are working with a reputable, multi-faceted business services organisation in Chatham, supporting them in their search for a new Management Accountant. Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, we are hoping to secure an individual who is actively seeking development to be fast tracked to Senior Management Accountant and begin to take on more managerial responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
* Management accounts – up to trial balance ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled with correct provisions.
* VAT processing and VAT reconciliations – process VAT for all Group companies and submit VAT returns.
* Payroll uploads – completion of monthly payroll journals and pension uploads.
* P&L reviews – P&L calculation and review / investigation of any anomalies or variances.
* Team support – joint responsibility for support of wider finance team including credit control, analysis and transactions.
* Supporting SLT – assisting FC, FC and MD with additional tasks and projects
Profile:
* AAT Qualified or pursuing formal qualification (ACCA, CIMA).
* Prior experience either as a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant.
* Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the company.
* Intermediate Excel skills as a minimum.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good analytical skills.
