We’re currently recruiting a Line Servicer to join our dynamic team based at our Cuisine Centre of Operations. We are a leading producer of high-quality food products renowned for their freshness and taste. As we continue to expand our operations, we are currently seeking a skilled Line Servicer to set up the lines with the correct materials and weights as per product specifications and setting up, cleaning and running of the depositor equipment. As a Line Servicer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring equipment reliability, we want to hear from you! We are seeking individuals on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week, initially Monday to Friday however as our contracts grow hours and days of work may be subject to change. Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment on the production line, including but not limited to, mixers, fillers, sealers, and packaging machines.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area and equipment according to company protocols and food safety regulations.
- Communicate any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete production documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements from you to undertake this role:
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Working closely with the Machine Operators and QA.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and production schedules.
- Methodical thinker, basic fault finding, work under pressure.
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods (PPE Provided)
