Laboratory Technician
Full-time and permanent role
Location: Suffolk
Reed Scientific are partnering with a leading connectivity solutions designer and manufacturer who are looking for a Laboratory Technician with a plastics background to support the R&D team and work alongside cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Testing equipment maintenance
Preparing samples for mechanical and environmental testing
Development of test procedures and setting up tests in accordance with international and internal standards
Recording test results and writing reports for cross functional teams
Providing technical support to NPD projects
Liaising with third parties regarding outsourced testing
Auditing performance of finished products
The candidate:
Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or similar, and a background in plastics (either academic or work experience)
Manufacturing industry and test laboratory experience would be an advantage
Has the full right to work in the UK. Please note that VISA sponsorship is not offered for this role.
