Providing 1-2-1 and small group support in literacy and numeracy to Year 6 students
For this KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you will need to meet the following requirements: you should have a degree with at least a 2:2, show that you naturally connect with and form strong relationships with the Year 6 pupils you will be working with, and ideally you want to pursue a PGCE Primary course in order to start your career as a Primary School Teacher.
You will support a Year 6 class as a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant as pupils get ready for and participate in their SATs, the most important year and part of their primary school experience. The Year 6 pupils you will be working with may have a sizable number of special education needs (SEN needs), including emotional and behavioural disorders (EBD), autism, ADHD, and other cognitive learning difficulties.
