Role: Junior Analyst – Credit Control
Normal working hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm, with one hour for lunch

Company offers Agile working (1 day a week from home) and flexible working hours

Location: Finchley Central N3

Salary: £26k to £32k

Key accountabilities:

1. Reading leases, deeds and other property title documents and miscellaneous documents, identifying key lease provisions and analysing title structures

2. Obtaining and checking HM Land Registry documents, title deeds and leases and interpreting the same

3. Compiling reports to identify aged debt accounts, ensuring these are included in the arrears process to recover the outstanding sums due

4. Responding to solicitor queries relating to debt recovery and forfeiture of leases

5. You may be requested to prepare case files for senior management to obtain consent for forfeiture of leases

6. Reviewing historical debt paid to third parties along with a review of completion statements and apportionment schedules to support the rent owed to our clients, liaising with third parties to recover the sums due

7. Updating and checking property management system data, updating other departments where necessary and responding to external third parties as appropriate

8. Reporting to Operations Manager (or other nominated supervisor) regarding work requirements, deadlines, and expectations, and protecting the interests of the Company at all times

9. Answering phone calls from tenants/leaseholders on a daily basis covering a range of issues/queries including: credit card payments; rent queries, standing order requests etc.

10. Working on projects, running and helping to design reports using MS Excel and Qube Software

11. Providing support for the team and the team’s supervisor in day-to-day work in circumstances where the workload so requires

Skills and knowledge:

• An understanding and/or up to date practical experience of conveyancing procedures

• Actively working towards a recognised accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or AAT

• Law Graduate, or equivalent academic qualifications with experience in property law/conveyancing

• Experience of property debt collection and forfeiture of leases

• Interest in legal property related research and a desire to acquire new skills and qualifications
