The organisation:

This is an opportunity to join a fast paced, agile business who employ around 1,000 people in the UK and overseas. They have a reputation for delivering the highest academic programmes.  Having been established for over 50 years, they are an employer of choice locally.  The role will be based at their Cambridge office where you will be expected to work on site at least 2 days a week.  The office is located very close to Cambridge train station.

The role:

The role of iTrent and HR Systems Manager will support the People Team by managing the HR systems, in particular iTrent their integrated HR and Payroll System. Ensuring that all HR systems are introduced, maintained and developed to deliver the People Strategy and wider business objectives.

You will provide first class advice, guidance & support to colleagues in the People Team and the wider business to ensure they leverage these systems to their maximum capability.

You will also have experience in managing and auditing the data held within their systems so that you can produce accurate and insightful management and KPI reports that support business decisions using this data.

You will have responsibility for line managing and supervising a team of two Administrators, as appropriate whilst working with all systems users to ensure they are using systems correctly and efficiently to maximise operational effectiveness.

Essential skills –

  • Knowledge and experience of using iTrent
  • Experience of driving service improvement through systems and processes
  • Experience of developing and delivering internal user training
  • Knowledge and experience of system integration
  • Ability to learn the use, integrate and manage new HR systems
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and interpretation
