Your new role
You will be a part of their day-to-day security engineering team and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls. You will play a big part in their transformation plans, which include new internal systems, as well as a move to the cloud in the long run.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a strong background or knowledge within the infrastructure or cyber world. You will have experience with firewall rules, engineering, VMWare, and Microsoft systems. You’ll also need the below:
Fantastic communication skills with strong and effective people skills
Adaptability and problem-solving skills. You’ll need to think on your feet and adapt to change.
If you’re coming from a pure infrastructure, non-cyber role, we would look for 1 or 2 recognised cyber certificates such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
What you’ll get in return
A great salary of up to £42,000. There is also the chance of discounted mortgage terms once probation has been passed (down to 1% mortgage rates). This particular benefit is highly advantageous! There is also Private Health Insurance after 1 year in the role, with other benefits including discounts, eye tests, dental insurance, and matched pension up to 8%.
