My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join their team in central Bournemouth. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the overall HR operations and leading the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with our company’s goals and values. The ideal candidate will have experience with project management and an EDI focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall HR operations, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, and recruitment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and values.
- Lead the development and implementation of EDI initiatives.
- Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
- Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
- Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
- Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification
- 5+ years of experience in an HR management role.
- Experience with project management and EDI initiatives.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
