Are you a skilled finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact? 

We’re looking to appoint an experienced Income Manager (Sales Ledger) to join a dynamic finance team with a national charity. The successful individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of income and sales ledger accounting to support charitable activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Managers and Commissioning teams to ensure accurate and consistent funding in alignment with service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Accountant to develop robust processes for sales ledger management and accurate income recognition.
  • Manage the charity’s revenue to ensure a transparent representation of its activities.
  • Prepare financial returns and assist in cash flow management.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • A minimum of AAT Level IV or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end processes of a sales ledger.
  • Proficiency in credit control, income monitoring, and debt collection.
  • Familiarity with financial management reporting and sales ledger reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word and Excel.
