HR Manager/People Lead, Up to £50,000. Based in Uckfield. Office Based. Will look at 4 day working week.

My client is an award-winning and innovative organisation, who are specialists within their industry sector. This is a newly created and high-visibility position, supporting the CEO and FD with strategic recruitment, training, growth and culture. As the HR Manager/People Lead, you will manage an Assistant and take accountability for the HR function and its purpose in the overall achievement of the organisation’s strategy. This is a pivotal and fast paced role where your responsibilities will include:
* Dealing with employee relations issues and all queries * Working with wellness committee to ensure staff feel valued and supported. * Ensuring appropriate benefits are in place and policies are renewed. * Accountable for having up to date and legally compliant team handbook and other people related policies. * Assist with coordination of reviews and appraisals. * Implement Robust HR metrics to enable the organisation to monitor key people related themes. * Support the recruitment and selection process * Draft offer letters and contracts * Manage all leavers * Coordinate induction and training of all new starters * Champion productivity and enable managers to support a productive culture.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience of working in a similar position with responsibility across the generalist remit, you will be highly motivated and commercial. Is it essential you have a sound understanding of employment law, demonstratable experience of developing and implementing employment policies, procedures and working practices. Your ability to work autonomously, inquisitive mind set and sound judgment to make decisions based on understanding of relevant information will be of great interest to my client.
