Our client is in search of a proficient HR Manager with CIPD qualification, as they prepare for an upcoming retirement. This full-time generalist position entails providing support to a rapidly growing business, with additional expansion on the horizon. As you collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and the strategic development of the HR support service.

Is this the position for you?
- 5+ years HR experience, ideally with exposure to recruitment
- Knowledge of employment law and applications
- Ability to manage a full range of generalist HR processes
- Gravitas upon which to build successful working relations and influence/coach line managers upon HR matters
- Strong communications ability and stakeholder management skills
- Car owner/driver –as the role covers four office locations across the East Midlands
- IT skills and experience using MS packages.
What will be expected of you?
- Develop, implement and maintain current HR policies and procedures, in order to drive the people/business plan forward
- Work closely with Senior and Line Managers, guiding, coaching and supporting them on HR activities
- Support and develop the performance review programme
- Lead on recruitment activity, covering internal and external advertising, managing agency partners and attending interviews/assessments
- Develop and maintain an effective talent pipeline process
- Edit and update the Employee Handbook and all associated policies and procedures
- Manage the employee relations and performance management processes, including disciplinary, grievance and/or redundancy procedures
- Support the training strategy and upskill/advise line managers regarding delivery, review and measurement
- Monitor, report upon and manage sickness absence and related protocols
- Manage the online employee engagement and recognition platform
- Manage the online holiday and absence management system
- Produce monthly MI and statistics reports that effectively measure the HR inputs, costs and successes
- Maintain accurate, accessible HR records.
